It Begins With
Curiosity.
What might become possible
if we were willing to look
a little closer?

There is always more to the story.
I've spent much of my life curious about people. What shapes us? Why do we respond the way we do? What causes us to hold on to familiar patterns, even when we sense there might be another way?
These questions have taken me through some fascinating experiences, from military service and scientific research to corporate leadership, executive coaching, and working alongside horses.
Along the way, I've discovered that sometimes the most meaningful insights emerge when we become curious enough to notice something we've been overlooking.
The Work Beneath
the Work.
We all develop patterns throughout our lives. Some help us navigate challenges, build relationships, achieve goals, and find our place in the world. Others become so familiar that we stop noticing how they're influencing our choices.
I'm interested in what happens when we become curious about those patterns. What assumptions are we carrying? How might our experiences be shaping what we see? What becomes available when we recognize that we have a choice?
Explore the approach →What might be standing right in front of us that we haven't yet learned to see?
Sometimes the most profound insight comes from a difficult conversation. Sometimes it comes from a horse standing quietly beside someone who hasn't yet noticed he's there.
Where curiosity
can take us.

The Influence We Carry.
My father taught me to look for possibilities. My mother demonstrated unconditional love and perseverance. Pete Spates taught me about feel, boundaries, and responsibility. Layne Thome modeled courage and integrity in complicated professional moments. Meg Adamson helped me trust myself and look inward.
Their influence lives in my work today. I am still discovering what some of their lessons mean.
